Tag - Top three products for under £5

I saw this tag on Cupcakes and cherries and thought it sounded like fun at least until I can find my usb lead which has hidden itself amongst the debris in my room! I have loads of pictures to put, hauls, reviews etc but it's done a runner :o

Back to business, the idea of this tag is to pick three products one being haircare, one skincare and one make up that are under......£5!

Skincare - Loreal Hydrafesh Normal to combination moisturiser

I love this moisturiser, it feels cooling and refreshing on the skin and is a perfect base for makeup, foundation seems to slide over this easily but doesn't slide off. Now this in places like Superdrug and Boots is over £5 but if you go to Morrisons or Asda it is often £3.8something. I have tried the normal to dry version and it just stops my skin from breathing and is really difficult to rub in. 

Hair care – Tresseme shampoos and conditioner

These can often be found on a BOGOF offer in pretty much any place you can buy hair care. I usually get mine from Asda for just under £5 and on BOGOF. I like Tresemme purely for the amount of product you get for the price I buy the 900ml bottles for £5 and they last aaaaaages – yeah that long! They have a huge range for blondes, brunettes, redheads, volume, sleekness, damaged hair etc Not just shampoo and conditioner but treatments and styling products. Go check out some bargainous Tresemme!

Make up – 17 Pressed powder

I use this powder every single day without fail, it never goes cakey, leaves my skin matte but not chalky and it is awesomely cheap at £3.42 a go. I’ve not much else to say about this product apart from the fact that it’s amazing.

A to Z of me!!

I saw this tag on A Fashionable Affair and thought I would jump in on it! As a side note - I received an email about my new camera; it is on backorder for 3 weeks!!! I wasn’t impressed and told them to cancel my order and refund my moolah.



A . . new beginning I feel like my life is mine again


B . . irthdays specifically mine! 17th November put it in your diaries!


C . . heryl my bestest friend in the whole wide world ha ha we've been friends since we were 4 and even though we've had fallouts and don't see each other often, we've never stopped being friends. She's my Yoda the one person I can go to for advice that basically I already knew and just needed someone else to tell me!


D . . entist I haven't been in maybe over a year! That's really bad for me I love my teeth they're pretty.


E . . ! channel 151 I love it for some random celeb gossip :)


F . . riends, I didn't used to be one of those girls who relied on female friends as I found them too bitchy and competitive but over the past year I've found a group of friends that I can really rely for a chat, a good night out and even just for a random joke text! I wouldn't like to be without them love you guys x x


G . . ail - my mum the one person who will always be there for me no matter what happens or what I do she always sticks by me.

N . . ew Moon I am so excited I could explode!! 20.11.09 woop woop I'll be the geek in the corner with my advance booking tickets :) and it's out 3 days after my birthday!


O . . ld age - I turn 23 this time and I'm stupidly excited about my presents, I'm still a child inside


P . . ets - my cat Barney is a pain in the bum but I love him all the same, I really want a whippet called Daisy as well though.

R . . obert Pattinson you sexy moody beast I want you ha ha I've got to admit I did think he was kinda hot when he was in Harry Potter which is kinda creepy considering how old he was (eeep). Cast the boy as a sexy vampire and you've got a winner!!


S . . ingle life - I am loving being single I feel so free and I'm happy all the time now where as I used to be happy 25% of the time when I was with my ex.


T . . wilight!!!!aaaaaaaahhhhh *squeals* I so did not get the hype and then about 2 months after it came out on DVD I caved in and bought it. I am obsessed!!


U . . nderwear - La Senza I love you, you sexify me


V . . omit, in a public place, at 730am = it’s never appropriate so just don’t. It’s not something I enjoy seeing on the bus making its way under my seat from behind or almost stepping in it walking to work.


W . . ednesday nights out - it's the new Friday


X . . rated facebook pictures - one friend of mine who shall not be named posted some very porno-esque pictures sandwiched between pictures of a night out I hope she didn’t know they were there but something tells me she did – eeew I feel dirty just thinking about them


Y . . awning something I do a lot at the moment I'm pretty exhausted from working 2 jobs and very late nights


Z. . zzzzzzzz a thing I need lots of but I'm only getting about 4 hours a night at the moment

Shampoo: I swap between tresemme blonde and a boots baby shampoo
Conditioner: Tresemme blonde (bogof at asda for the 900ml bottles they last forever!)
Styling products: err at the minute I’m really kind of crappy with products I did manage some silk infusion by chi the other day but I’m ill so I’m lazy!
Shower Gel: Korres spiced chocolate it could be the most gorgeous smell ever!! Tk Maxx £3!
Body moisturiser: Nothing except the odd bit of bio oil if I remember!
Deodorant: a Sure one can’t think what it’s called but it is fragrance free
Fake Tan: none I’m as pale as pale can be! Still trying to work up the courage to use the St Moriz that is sitting there on a shelf all sad and alone :(
Cleanser: Boots baby Wipes and Simple face wash gel in the morning and Simple cleanser at night
Exfoliator: St Ives blemish one I love the smell :)
Moisturiser: Loreal Hydrafresh in oily/combo skin variety if they ever discontinue this I will cry
Primer: Gosh velvet touch Foundation brush: Either my Ruby and Millie one or my fingers
Concealer: Rimmel Hide the blemish in Ivory Powder: 17 powder in neutral (L.O.V.E)
Blusher: Milani Luminous or Benefit Coralista or 17 damson wine depends on my mood and the amount of shimmer elsewhere on my face
Bronzer: Usually none but sometimes Korres bronzer in Sunglow light
Highlighter: Most of the time I don’t bother but sometimes some MAC blonde msf
Eyeshadow base: UDPP
Eyeshadows: UD ammo palette or 17 e/s in mardi gras gorgeous colour go and buy it!!
Eyeliner: Rimmel eyekohl in black (exciting I know!)
Curler: Boots No7
Mascara: Alternating between YSL faux cils, Loreal Telescopic and I keep trying to make Benefit bad gal work but so far… no joy!
Lipstick: Gosh darling every now and then
Lipgloss: Benefit her glossiness in didn’t hear it from me
Nail Colour: nothing but shiny shiny buffed nails and super soft hands

Ok that’s about it then! Just thought I’d randomly post seeing as I’ve not done in forever! Still haven’t got my camera sorted :( Hopefully soon though and I get paid next week so woo yey! X x x

20 Questions Tag!

I wasn’t technically tagged but I haven’t posted in forever so I’m doing it and there’s nothing you can do to stop me :p

1. Things you cannot leave the house without:Hmm can I just say my bag and all the junk in it?!Ok if I had to narrow it down to say 3 things it would be phone, Vaseline (or any lip balm) and money/debit card.

2. Favourite brand of Make Up:At the moment it would have to be Urban Decay I’ve been using the Ammo palette almost every day recently. But all time favourite 17 from Boots I love the eyeshadows.

3. Favourite flower:Wasn’t really ‘into’ flowers until recently but I’ve discovered that sunflowers are my favourite flower. I think they’re gorgeous.

4. Favourite clothing store:Shoes – used to be New Look, at the moment not really impressed but most of my shoes are from there so we’ll go with New LookBasics – Next because they are usually cheaper than New Look, H&M etc
Everything else – Debenhams just for the sheer variety of brands and products

5. Favourite perfume:All my favourites get discontinued but it was Armani Night (red bottle) then Gucci (clear bottle brown liquid smells quite manly but also a bit like talc!) and now the new-ish Gucci in the brown bottle think it may be called Gucci? lol

6. Heels or Flats:Everyday wear got to be flats except in winter I like to get out my knee high boots. Nights out – heels but I’d like to wear flats to be honest I’m getting kind of low maintenance when it comes to shoes.

7. Do you make good grades:Eh kind of not as good as I should have done

8. Favourite colours:Used to be baby blue then teal now purple although I am rocking the black/white black/cream combo at the mo

9. Do you drink energy drinks:Used to be a blue bear junkie (Spars version of red bull) just to keep me awake through my old job (it sucked) but now don’t drink it at all

10. Do you drink juice:Yeah sometimes apple is my fave but like orange as well smooth though no bits! God help if I find bits in my juice! I drink it more on holiday mainly because they give you gallons of it with breakfast :D

11. Do you like swimming:No, I LOVE swimming!! Used to swim competitively but got into partying and that kind of faded away but I still love it only really get time for it when on my hols.

12. Do you eat fries with a fork:I’ve loved reading peoples answer to this dunno why just a weird fascination I guess. To answer the question though I eat chips with a fork if they’re part of a meal that wasn’t from a drive through (home-cooked, restaurant etc)

13. Favourite moisturiser:L’oreal Hydrafresh I think it’s called it was discontinued in Boots then Superdrug stocked it now they just do the dry skin one which makes my skin drier????I have found that they stock the oily/combo one in Morrisons hurrah!! I can’t be bothered going on a new moisturiser hunt

14. Do you want to get married later on in life: Hmm yeah if I find the right person logic will go out the window and I’ll be all bridezilla! but I don’t necessarily think marriage equates to a happy life together. I know people that have been together 40 years without being married. So it’s each to their own really.

15. Do you get mad easily:Yeah but I calm down really quickly as well.

16. Are you into ghost hunting:let me think nah not really lol random question!

17. Any phobias: Small heights yeah that’s right standing on a ladder, chair, stool, couch whatever I will freak out (in my head but I never let it show) The weird thing is though that I love huge heights they completely fascinate me! Skydiving?sign me up! Rock climbing? Love it! Flown a plane? Why yes I have! See I’m weird!

18. Do you bite your nails:Used to but stopped when I learnt that biting ONE nail- just one!! Is equivalent to licking a toilet seat in terms of bacteria and such. So since licking a toilet seat is something I’d never do I stopped cold turkey and haven’t done it in 9 years!!

19. Have you ever had a near death experience:Yes

20. Do you drink coffee:Nope used to in college mainly because you got a kit kat free to dunk with it!

What makeup do you use a lot? Mascara always! I once didn’t put any in my bag and because I was on the bus I had to improvise and I literally painted my lashes with liquid eyeliner. Don’t get me wrong it did look good but not something I’m in a hurry to repeat!

Do you get enough beauty sleep? Yes or no? Why? Definitely not – my neighbour either the incredibly loud music he plays (and sometimes he sings!) or just generally being a night time kinda person sometimes

Why did you start your (beauty) blog? I started watching fafinettex3’s videos and I was hooked! Then I discovered the beauty bloggers and one day I just started typing

What do you think is the best feature about yourself? Hmm I like my nose or maybe my eyes when they’re not surrounded by dark circles lol

25 Random Facts About Me

I tried to put this off for as long as I could cause I knew it would take me forever!! I got tagged by MakeupLover_X and MizzWorthy.

25 random things errrr.....

1. I hate heights, small heights like climbing a ladder or standing on a chair
2. But I love heights if that makes sense I love roller coasters, I've flown a plane and am hoping someone buys me a bungee jump or skydiving experience thing for my birthday!
3. I love make up and playing around with my hair but for the past three years I've worn the same make up every day and just got really bored of it.
4. My hair was platinum blonde for 4 and a half years and I loved and hated it the colour was beautiful but difficult to keep the same, my roots always looked scarily darker than they were really and my hair became pretty dry and I cut alot of it off. I always seemed to have broken hairs like 2 inches long which looked a bit mental.
5. My dream careers from when I was a kid vary enormously I'll just list them in the order of the phases I went through - actress, vet, doctor, teacher, actress, make up artist, spy, history teacher, mum and housewife, doctor, actress, psychologist, tank driver, fashion designer, sniper, mum and housewife, English teacher, make up artist, beautician, actress and probably still many more to come as you can see I change my mind alot but there are a few careers that pop up often!
6. I have two middle names Louise and Jade but I always wanted three cause I'm greedy ha ha
7. I only listen to the radio in my boyfriends car never the house
8. I love Diorshow mascara but only for the first three weeks of using it cause after that it seems to dry up stupidly quickly
9. I have a scar on my nose from when I got bitten by my grandmas dog it only shows up when I frown
10. Oh yeah and the end of my nose wiggles up and down when I talk like a rabbit not so much you'd notice if I didn't tell you oops lol
11. I live with my mum, my brother, my step dad and my cat Barney and our adopted cat Pharrell
12. My favourite colour is blue especially teal but for the past year I've been obsessed with purple!
13. I love Roxy jeans and have just bought 2 pairs last month when I was on holiday
14. I think I could work as Cinderella at Disneyland in Florida it would be awesome to be dolled up like that every day and be happy and smiling all the time!
15. I love love love Grey's Anatomy, Prison Break and Bones!!!
16. Ooooo and The Hills!!!!!! and maybe soon The City cause I love Whitney
17. I love singing and am actually pretty good but I won't sing in public anymore which leads me to my next point...
18. I'm painfully shy I won't talk to strangers if I don't have to but.....
19. I have worked in a bookmakers for almost 3 years, a pub for 2 and a half and am currently working in a clothes shop. All these jobs involve talking to strangers and I've loved them all!!
20. I have a car he's called Gerald and he's sitting on the driveway because I have failed my test 4 times I get so nervous I throw up and get shaky- I want to pass!!!
21. I have too many clothes to fit in my wardrobe so my room is literally covered in clothes it's grim and I usually like to clothes shop on my own other people are no help, I've yet to find my dream shopping buddy :(
22. I've been going out with my boyfriend Andrew for 18 months now and he chased me for a year before I finally gave in! lol
23. I wish I could afford MAC brushes but I'm skint at the minute so I'm snooping around for other brands I like.
24. I'd love to live in New York I can't think of anything more exciting to do with my life than move to New York and act.
25. I started reading Vogue when I was 13 but I stopped when I was 18 ish and now I read Glamour and Instyle every month without fail, when I'm not reading magazines I have over 300 books to read and re-read as well as my dvd collection which currently stands at approx 400- I love my films!!

I could actually probably come up with more how mad is that?!
